For 25 years, Aldo Disorbo, owner of Nationwide Relocation Services (NRS), has built his business and reputation in the moving industry. Today, Aldo Disorbo is a successful businessman who believes in giving back to his community.
Q: Can you tell us more about the NRS toy drive for underprivileged children?
Aldo Disorbo: Nationwide Relocation Services is proud to be a part of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Program. NRS serves as a drop-off point for the donated toys collected in October, November and December every year. Neighbors and NRS employees have donated sizeable amounts of toys, which are distributed as Christmas gifts to needy children in numerous communities.
Q: You have been very effective in collecting hundreds of toys for the program. What prompted you to become personally involved?
Aldo Disorbo: I have been very successful in my business ventures and believe I should share my good fortune with families who are having a difficult time. Once a year, I make it a priority to deliver a little hope to underprivileged families. To know that someone cares often goes a long way in helping these kids to become responsible, productive adults.
Aldo Disorbo: Most certainly. Each year we work to collect more toys than the year before. It’s a challenge, a competition against ourselves to see if we can double last year’s numbers.
Q: I wish you the best of luck with your toy drive in the upcoming months and years.
Aldo Disorbo: Thank you. Nothing makes me happier than making a positive difference in a child’s life. We are always pleased to share that happiness with others. Please feel free to donate as many toys as you would like to this years’ collection.
